He began work as an associate attorney with the Fort Worth law firm of Shannon, Gracey, Ratliff & Miller in 1979 and was a partner with that firm from 1983 until the formation of Wallach, Jones & Moore, P.C., in 1991, now known as Wallach & Andrews, P.C.

Professionally, Michael has focused his career on personal injury and civil trial litigation, including defense of physicians and hospitals in health care liability claims. He is a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation. He has been a member or officer of the Board of Directors of the Texas Association of Defense Counsel from 1990 through the present, serving as President in 2001-02.

Likewise, from 2007 through 2010, Fort Worth, Texas magazine polled Ft. Worth lawyers and awarded Top Lawyer recognition to Michael Wallach.

These selections and awards were made possible by the firm's continuing efforts to provide the most effective representation to its clients.
