Awards and Recognitions

D. Michael Wallach has been an active member of the Texas Association of Defense Counsel since 1990 and served as its President in 2001-2002.

Over the years Texas lawyers have been asked to nominate the best lawyers that they have personally observed in action and Law & Politics magazine reviewed the nominations. Every year since 2003, D. Michael Wallach, has consistently earned selection as a Texas Super Lawyer as well as being named a Top Lawyer by Fort Worth, Texas magazine and a Lawyer of Excellence by the Fort Worth Business Press.

In 2007 and 2008, Texas Monthly magazine again conducted its poll (of more than 60,000 Texas lawyers) to determine the top attorneys in Texas and Law & Politics magazine again reviewed the nominations. In the top 5% of the nominations, D. Michael Wallach was again listed and J. Wade Birdwell joined the list as Texas Super Lawyers.

In 2007 and 2008, Fort Worth, Texas magazine awarded Top Lawyer recognition to D. Michael Wallach and J. Wade Birdwell. Additionally, in 2008, Jennifer M. Andrews was also awarded Top Lawyer recognition by Fort Worth, Texas magazine. Three of the firm's seven attorneys having now been so recognized.
